To be honest I’m not the most knowledgeable when it comes to snorkeling. However, based on my limited experience with the product it seems to be of good quality. The breathing mechanisms seem to be of a good quality as well providing fairly good oxygen in low-pressure situations. What I mean is in standing water 5 feet or less. I’m reviewing the X/XL variant so be aware also an S/M mask exists, however, that seems to be more for children as I’m only 5 feet 7 inches and the X/XL model seemed to fit me but I don’t know what would happen if more pressure existed. Would water seep into the chamber who knows?
Attaching the product was very simple just wrap it around your face and install the breathing mechanism. I swam in a local pool only around 4 feet with no issue. I did get looks for doing this but I did what I had to do. They do also include ear plugs which is much appreciated as I always see lots of people using them in public pools I’m not one of those people though. Remember your not going to get ample oxygen with any snorkeling mask but just enough to avoid injury. So remember it’s extremely important you remain calm and limit your physical activity while using the product. Any additional usage of oxygen will cause panic as you won’t feel as you have enough. You may also experience claustrophobia while using so please don’t use it too long or practice on land before going into the ocean. Overall snorkeling is fun but it’s not for me however that’s no fault of the product.
