Great Ultility But Key Issues

Overall I’m very happy with The Perseids 2.4G wireless keyboard for the Nintendo Switch. While I wish the keyboard was broken in a little more. Because sometimes the product simply does not register a click and seems to get better over time but it’s still not perfect. And I also wish the product didn’t require a USB receiver to work as now you can’t use this thing on the go. This is definitely the biggest flaw of this product. Like what the heck were they thinking here? Like, give this thing a USB type c or some other way to connect this product without the need of the switch base. But besides those two things, it’s actually a really solid product. Using this product with the Joy-Cons feels like a mix of the Wii u gamepad controller and the joycon grip. I really like this thing a lot it’s nice and light but at the same time, it provides a comfortable experence that actually may be my future controller. I find the normal joy con grips to be a little to tight together making precise movements harder than necessary. For example when playing games like Super Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 precise movements like throwing Marios hat then dolphin diving in mid-air into his hat so he gets an extra jump can truly only be executed while using this controller compared to normal ones. Also for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, an RPG with constant action requires constant moving and attacking to avoid attacks but also deal out punishment at the same time. This controller here really makes this experence better.

I found the box for this product to be very nice. It’s clean and colorful and does a nice job informing what this product is used to do. The product has the charging indicator which tells you how much power is left in the controller joycons. The controller itself is not a separate power source instead it just drains power from the joycons. This works for around 10 meters so you can definitely not stand next to your dock but I would not recommend doing it from a separate room as you will not be able to see what’s on your TV anyway unless you have it in handheld mode. This once again points out the issue with the USB receiver again. Going back to the keys while I did bash them a bit I would also like to mention that I still really like them overall. They made typing in keys on the Eshop and configuring my new wifi at school a breeze. With additional keys like caps lock and space, it really does everything. I would not be surprised if this product works with other devices like Nvidia Tablets as they use the same system architecture. Overall I think this product is very solid. Not only does it provide a quality keyboard but it actually is a better way to play games with the joycons compared to the one in the box. I’m a big fan of this product even with its mild flaws. Nulaxy KM12 LED Backlit Bluetooth Rechargeable Mechanical Keyboard Review

The Nulaxy KM12 LED Backlit Bluetooth Mechanical Keyboard is very similar to the product I reviewed approximately one year ago. So if you see similarities between the models well I think it’s self-explanatory why. Let me address the subtle but very beneficial changes made to this 2018 model of the product. Firstly and most importantly the feedback from the keyboard definitely feels more mechanical then last year. I’m not saying it’s pure mechanical or anything but its feedback is mechanical like and considering the price it’s very impressive. The other change is the backlight. When you start typing the backlight which happens to be a blue hue turns on automatically. In darker environments, it’s very noticeable and can help improve typing speeds. I can’t even tell you how long it used to take me to type longer emails on my phone. This product helped decrease my timing and made this a viable backup for completing assignments on google docs if for some reason my computer was not working at the time. Which is unforuntely what happens at times when your computer has Windows 8 installed. I’m not saying this to everyone or every situation like I’m not sure if I would trust this thing with an Ipad pro or some larger tablet. The stand feels somewhat secure but it’s not actually holding on to any devices just provides a nice incline for your phone or table to stand up as you type.

I was surprised to see it use Bluetooth as I’m not used to that for this type of keyboard in the price range specified. It even works with IOS and Mac users as I stated before which is not a given in this day and age as Apple keeps pushing more proprietary BS software which in this case is its Mifi technology as a superior to Bluetooth. The leather-like casing on the outside is not merely used for standing up your phone. This can also be closed up which means traveling with this item is very easy and you don’t have to worry about scratching it. My keys were black I noticed some people have white I’m not sure why but I assume that was an older model. In regards to the negatives firstly the backspace key is small I like how they finally moved the backspace button to the correct spot which is a huge improvement over the spot for it last year. Please fix this and 5 stars could be coming in 2019. Overall I’m very happy with this product I would not be surprised if the company took a look at my review last year and made some necessary changes in this iteration. It’s the finest Bluetooth keyboard I have reviewed so far but perfection is out of the question on this model at least. The Aerb 2.4Ghz Backlit Wireless Mini Keyboard is surprisingly good considering the price tag. To be honest I didn’t know what to expect but the product delivers on many different levels. The backlight feature is very nice and can help in dark situations so I’m a fan of that feature. Besides that the keyboard light it also comes with a wide variety of buttons to press. Not just a QWERTY keyboard but also a mouse pad like the feature that allows you to control your PC mouse. It also has touch commands that require you to touch the pad in certain ways. It comes with volume up and volume down buttons. Not only that but L And R controls like a game console controller does exist so that’s nice.

The product is Compatible with PC, Pad, Android TV Box, Google TV Box, Xbox 360, PS3, HTPC/IPTV, etc. Now that’s a lot of options. I personally tried using it with Android thanks to my use of micro USB cable and it worked great. You also can use it with your PC on windows. Those are the only two I can comment on. But it’s very seamless experience. The company decided not to use Bluetooth but to use USB instead. I like this feature as Bluetooth is not good in my opinion. You do charge this thing with a micro USB cable. Overall if you’re not satisfied with your keyboard or if you need to use this instead of a touchscreen or use a joystick to type in letters. Then this product will fulfill that need in a great fashion.

The Nulaxy Business Pro Rechargeable Wireless Keyboard truly does it all when in regards to typing. I can’t even tell you how long it used to take me to type emails on my phone. I’m not saying this to everyone or every situation however when it comes to writing longer messages this thing is a beast. If I ever forget my laptop this thing could really be a replacement. Just open up Google Docs and start typing with this thing it’s that easy.

I was surprised to see it uses Bluetooth as I’m not used to that for this type of keyboard. It even works with IOS and Mac users as well. It comes with the leather-like casing on the outside which means carrying this thing is very easy and stylish of course. My keys were black I noticed some people got white however not sure why but I assume that was an older model. In regards to the negatives firstly the backspace key is small and not located in the same spot as Windows it’s higher up. Please fix this also I do wish the overall size of the device was a little larger. Also, did I mention you can fold the case back and use it to stand your phone up. The Evanpo E3 Wireless Keyboard With Touchpad Mouse is surprisingly a good considering the price tag. To be honest I didn’t know what to expect but the product delivers on many different levels. the lack of physical keys at first seemed like a downside, however, it was integrated very nicely with haptic feedback after every touch so surprisingly it’s forgivable but this may vary depending on the buyer. Besides the standard keyboard function, it also comes with a wide variety of other options. Firstly and most importantly with the flip of a switch, the mouse pad like feature activates and it allows you to control your device like a computer mouse. It also has touch commands that require you to touch the pad in certain ways. It comes with left and right mouse click buttons that can be used like buttons on a mouse. Back and forward buttons exist two next to the power switch.

The product is Compatible with PC, Pad, Android TV Box, Google TV Box, Xbox 360, PS3, HTPC/IPTV, etc. Now that’s a lot of options. I personally tried using it with Android thanks to my USB to micro USB cable and it worked great. You also can use it with your PC on Windows. Overall it’s very seamless experience. EasySMX SL-2029 LED Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

The EasySMX SL-2029 LED Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is really nice. I’m not sure if the base is made of metal or plastic because it has the metallic look but doesn’t necessarily feel as solid as aluminum should but it’s not really a big deal. The design of the item just screams gaming with it’s solid red and black key QWERTY layout so make sure you know that. I like the new branding logo EasySMX has gone with this product. Looks like a racehorse to me and it’s clearly displayed on the product and the box for that matter. it’s packaged nicely and comes with the bare essentials which includes instructions and nothing else. The product runs on USB power which can be supplied from your Laptop or PC of course. Cable length from my testing is around 7 feet give or take a few inches which is fine in most use cases. If you wish to gain some height while typing 2 expandable feet lay under the base of the unit and that should provide some help. The keys are very responsive and don’t require much force to press. Obviously like most gaming keyboards full RGB is included and can be programmed with the proper software. I’m personally fine with the rainbow colors and had no desire to change it.

To test this product I conducted a few experiments. While most were conducted off camera I did to a typing sample on camera. The product did a very nice job and my type speed was impressive. I don’t have any concrete numbers but from what I can tell you would feel a difference over a standard board. For gaming, I tried playing some TF2 with a keyboard. Allow me to say I usually use a controller for this game but in this case, I went for the keys. I usually get a 1KD with a controller and a .5KD without a controller. I clocked in around .63KD during my testing. The sample size is quite limited however it was only a few hours so be aware of that. The manufacturer claims that raising the keyboard with the legs improves arm fatigue. I did not see any difference in that based on the height. However, I did see a difference in fatigue for a different reason. The lack of pressure necessary to make a click was much more significant than with previous keyboards. This product works with Windows 10, Chrome OS and Android with the proper micro USB to USB cable. Can’t testify about other platforms nor do I care too. Overall I like this keyboard and I really had nothing negative to say about this thing. I do wish the design deviated from the typical keyboard as their’s virtually no difference. So for that reason and that reason alone I will slice a half star off for lack of originality. Make no mistake, however, this is a solid keyboard. IeGeek K28 Mechanical Backlit Gaming Keyboard Review

The ieGeek 87 Key Gaming Mechanical Keyboard is a very cool product for budget gamers. If you are aware of the stereotypical clicking sound a keyboard can make especially ones of mechanical nature then you will be right at home with this keyboard. All the keys are raised and as you type the click sounds emanate from the base of the unit. Speaking of the base it comes with a hand rest which is truly the only flaw of this item. For whatever reason, it will not stay in place it keeps falling out as soon as any pressure is applied. I don’t what I’m doing wrong but luckily It’s not mandatory nor useful in this case. I’m a big fan of the lighting it’s extremely visible and it makes cool effects when it’s turned on. You won’t be guessing with this item regarding if it’s working or not because it’s quite evident.

Typing with this product was a joy it was easy to use however my standard laptop keyboard I’m using right now is also pretty good and it comes preinstalled on my computer. So, unfortunately, I don’t see enough of a reason to switch to it as my daily driver however it was not made for this anyway. They call this a gaming keyboard for a reason and it does not disappoint. Accessing the chat in TF2, switching between weapons in Overwatch and 360 no scopes in cod 4 were all easier with this product. The issue is I’m a casual gamer who does not have a need to do this too often. So I think that’s the question you must ask yourself unless your current keyboard is complete trash I’m not sure I would get this again unless I was a big gamer.
