The ARORY 0.39X HD Super Wide Angle Lens with Macro Lens comes with all the lens you want from a budget product. The macro lens and the huge wide angle lens all do indeed work. However, there is a downside I must discuss that’s significant. If you have a big thick case like an otto box or a unicorn beetle beware you are going to need some upper body strength to get the hook to attach to your phone while the lens is on the hook. This is simply unacceptable and needs to fixed moving forward I should not have to take off my phone case to use a macro lens. Most people will not do that however if you can look past this flaw it’s a solid product for the most part. Also, I found it interesting how large the wide angle lens was. I’m used to some cheap small lens but this product is huge and really gives me confidence.
The product comes with a nice carrying case which protects and transports all the lenses. The wide angle lens which is also the biggest lens was by far the easiest to install and hooked on to my phone with relative ease. The macro lens was a little more difficult not so much but they did, in fact, work as directed. Visual quality remained relatively the same through my tests although slight degradation may have occurred as photos do look a bit more granular now. Also, the lens cleaner was appreciated as I dropped this lens a lot during my tests. It’s also cool how this works for both IOS and Android. The company was nice enough to include lens caps for both lenses and they are much appreciated. You are probably not going to need this thing at all times. So it’s good to know the product will be safe when not in use. Overall the only major flaw is the case issue. If you have a thin case or are willing to take your case off to use this it’s a good buy.
